Find Your Recycling Day, Holiday Schedule, and Calendar

The City has launched ReCollect, making it even easier to stay connected and never miss your waste and recycling collection day again! 

Household recycling (gray cart) is collected every other Wednesday and is determined by your garbage collection day. If you need more room for recycling, refer to the "R" program to see your options.

Recycling Schedules

The City of Apopka has two schedules for recycling pickup (purple or yellow). Recycling is picked up every other week for City of Apopka residents. 

  • Purple Schedule: For those with regular garbage pickup on Monday and Thursday residents will follow the purple schedule. 
  • Yellow Schedule: For those with regular garbage pickup on Tuesday and Friday residents will follow the yellow schedule.
